As much as I love cooking Korean and other Asian dishes, I’ve also gathered a deep appreciation for Western-style meals and baked goods through years of living abroad. Cooking outside of Korean cuisine helped me understand flavors from a new angle—how butter, herbs, and slow-simmered sauces can bring the same comfort as a bowl of Korean stew.

In this collection, you’ll find some of my family’s most-loved dishes: slow-cooked Spaghetti sauce, and a soft German peach cake that never fails to impress. You’ll also find my cherished pumpkin dinner rolls—a Thanksgiving favorite for many of my readers every year.
