Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings

Sweet, spicy, and sticky, these baked chicken wings are marinated with sriracha, honey, oyster sauce, and ketchup for the best flavor. A perfect finger food for parties.

Ingredients

  • 3 lb chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoon sweet rice wine (mirim)
  • 1 green onion finely chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large zip bag, combine all the marinade ingredients except the chicken wings and the green onion. Mix well.
  • Add the wings and toss well to coat. Set aside for 30 minutes or chill in the fridge for 2-3 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 350˚F, line a baking sheet with a piece of foil. Add the wings to the baking sheet. Reserve the marinade and set aside. Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Pour the reserved marinade over the wings and toss to coat. Continue to bake for 15 minutes.
  • Turn the wings to the other side and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes or the wings get coated with sticky glaze.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with green onion.
