Naengmyeon is a Korean spicy cold noodles made with buckwheat flour. These chewy noodles served with sweet & spicy sauce make one of the most popular summer dishes in Korea.
1. Boil water and soy sauce and let it cool. 2. Puree savory ingredients and fruit until smooth 3. Combine soy sauce and puree mixture. Let the sauce chill until ready to use.
Make Nangmyeon Sauce
1. Make quick pickled radish with salt, vinegar and sugar and soak for 20 min. 2. Rinse and squeeze excess moisture. 3. Remove the seeds from cucumber and slice thinly.
1. Cook nangmyeon noodles according to the package directions. 2. Rinse under cold running water. 3. Top with the sauce and toppings
Cut noodles 2-3 times with a pair of scissor. Although a true Korean nangmyeon mania won’t like this method, but it helps with mixing.
