Snake Beans with Korean Beef Sauce

Quick and simple stir-fry with snake beans (or green beans) and simple beef sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 small bunch snake beans or green beans, sliced into bite size pieces
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 red chili sliced
  • 4 tablespoon water divided
  • 3-4 tablespoon Korean Beef Sauce *
  • dashes black pepper
  • sesame oil and toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a skillet or wok, heat oil over med-high heat. Add the garlic and chili and cook for 10 seconds.
  • Add the beans and toss. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of water and close with the lid and let the steam to cook the beans, about 1-2 minutes, until the beans are tender crisp. If the beans are still to crunch, add the rest of the water and repeat the steaming. Adjust the heat so you don't burn the garlic.
  • When the beans are tender crisp, add the beef sauce and toss.
  • Sprinkle black pepper, sesame oil, and sesame seeds for your liking. Serve hot with rice
