Kimchi Stew (Kimchi Jjigae) with Tomatoes

Kimchi Stew (kimchi jjigae) is beloved Korean stew dish. Combination with pork is the most common version that people enjoy. Have you tasted kimchi stew made with tomatoes? It sounds weird but it is really tasty. You don't taste the prominent tomato flavor in the stew but the tomatoes make the flavor of broth so intriguingly tasty and lovely.  Here I turned the tradition Korean pork kimchi stew with tomatoes.  If you try it, you will see what I mean. Tofu and Tomato Eggs

Tofu and Tomato Egss

I can't tell what the identity of this dish is. It is like a soup but it is not. It can be a savory custard but doesn't look like it. WTH, I will just call it tofu and tomato eggs. It surely is one of those easy-peasy comfort foods that doesn't require much time and effort. It tastes great served with rice as a simple meal. I enjoyed it when my heart was down and low. Maybe because there are so much to choose from and so easily accessible, I just take my family to the nearest restaurant whenever we get the curry ...

So I got a boxful of vine ripe tomatoes because my heart was telling me that I should. (I tend to follow my instinct which is not necessarily the logical method of life processing skill) They are good, juicy and flavorful. I have been eating tomatoes for breakfasts, for lunches, for snacks, and used them in the recipes for dinners in the past few days. I fed to my husband ...

Salmon with Green Beans and Tomatoes

I used to not like salmon. I am not sure why. Maybe because I grew up eating ocean fresh fishes of South Korea and never got used to these type of fatty fish from the North Atlantic ocean. Anyhow, to make the long story short..., I enjoy my salmons now. Salmons are quite versatile fish to come up with different ways to enjoy. Here is one dish that I feed my family often, Salmon with green beans and tomatoes. Very simple with only a few ingredients that everyone might have, you can put ...
