Yeah!!!! It is finally here!
My first-ever cookbook, Simply Korean, is now available for sale online in digital format.
Ever since I started Beyond Kimchee, I have received many email messages asking when I would publish a cookbook. I have been longing to do so for the past two years but it was not easy to complete due to my busy life. Now I am proud to announce the completion of first cookbook in digital form. Yeah!!!
When it comes to cooking Korean food, choosing which dishes to start with can be overwhelming–savory Korean pancakes, meat and poultry dishes, numerous soups and stews, the incredible side dishes, and of course, kimchi. There are too many to choose from!
I titled this book Simply Korean. With over 100 pages, this book contains 36 of the most requested and popular Korean recipes that are showcased on my blog, from appetizers to desserts. I also included some basic Korean pantry items that people need to stock up on if they want to achieve that true Korean flavor.
Below are some snapshots that provide a sneak peek into this new “eCookbook.”
What is included on this book and what is not?
Simply Korean features 36 of the most loved recipes from www.beyondkimchee.com, including appetizers like seafood green onion pancakes, mung bean pancakes, and spicy Korean fried chicken. Main dishes include “L.A.” galbi, cola braised chicken, spicy Korean pork, dak galbi, and spicy grilled mackerel. There are also six soup and stew recipes including the ever famous spicy Korean chicken stew and the unforgettable beef & vegetable stew. Simply Korean also teaches you how to make side dishes, salads, sauces, rice & noodle dishes, kimchi and desserts that bring my home-cooked recipes right to your kitchen. All of these recipes are tried and true, and are loved by many of my readers. You will also find “Korean pantry” pages in which I explain the basic Korean ingredients and condiments that are necessary to make irresistible Korean dishes.
The recipes in Simply Korean contain all of the descriptions and instructions necessary to make deliciously authentic Korean dishes. Because of space limitations, the step-by-step photo tutorials featured in my blog, www.beyondkimchee.com, which has over 200 recipes, could not be included.
What is an eCookbook?
An eCookbook is a cookbook in digital format (PDF) that you can download on to your computer, tablet, or smartphone for immediate use. No need to wait for shipping, and you can bring it with you right into your friendly neighborhood Korean grocery store and into your kitchen! As a PDF file, it can be opened on virtually all of today’s computers and digital devices.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Simply Korean. I appreciate your support and hope you enjoy these recipes!
